UPDATE----Gun Show Weekend in Orlando

WOW--standing room only.

My guess was that the fire marshal was watching the overloading of people in both buildings. I got there at 8:10 for a 9:00 opening. There was probably over 100 in line when I got there. They opened 30 minutes early--at 8:30. The traffic hazard the line was creating probably influenced their decision to open early. The 3 largest sellers of ammo were VERY busy. Georgia Arms was the busiest. There were 60--70 people at any one time waiting to buy ammo. Most people at Georgia Arms tables were buying the usual--223, 7.62x39 and small plastic bags of 45 and assorted other calibers. Georgia Arms did not have any 45 in ammo cans this time. They said that didn't even have any to bring. I suspect that by the time I left the show (2 hours) that they were reaching the maximum for occupancy. The prices for guns had not changed all that much since the last time I was there. AK's ran the range of $499 for the cheaper manufactures up through the sky for the better ones. However, ammo had gone up considerably. The guy behind me in line said that the online price of the 223 ammo he was buying was $50.00 more expensive for the 500 rds of 223 than their online price and both prices were more expensive than the last time he bought from them. But, he said that "having is better than waiting 5-7 weeks for it to be delivered".

The rush continues.
